This model captures all colors available on Netscape viewers and effectively maps out its color space.

Believe it or not, each plane of color shown here contains colors of the same value.

Each polygon in this display represents a tonal family of shades and tints around a single color.

Transform

The basics of the COLORCUBE are seen when the planes of primary color convert themselves into cubes of color.

Flying

This simulated COLORCUBE spacecraft is certain to move you.

Intensity

This COLORCUBE bulges in places where colors of similar value or intensity are together.

MagicAxes

Red, green and blue are primary to both the human eye and color monitors - the COLORCUBE knows and grows from this.

COLORCUBE Screen Saver User Notes:

Locations of the Screen Saver Executables:
- For Windows 95 Operating System
  - <your-win95>\system
- For Windows NT Operating Systems
  - <your-winnt>\system32

Locations of the "readme files":
- In the COLORCUBE directory which was chosen during the "Setup."
- Uninstalling the screen savers requires removing the executables and the readme files from these two locations.

DirectX requirements:
- Screen savers running on Windows 95 operating systems will require the "directx.exe" installation. An error message will result if this driver is missing. Visit www.colorcube.com to download this item.

Trouble shooting:
- Enable the Screen Saver:
  - Locate the Settings dialog (accessed through Display Properties) and check the 'enable' box. A screen saver failure will default to a disabled setting.
  - Reduce monitor resolution or number of colors on screen. These adjustments require less video memory and will allow screen saver to run once re-enabled.
