Panel #7 Color Mixing: Adding Magenta In a manner similar to the above example, the addition of primary magenta will cause a color to move towards the plane that contains maximum magenta, M100. The middle diagram in panel #7 shows that adding magenta to cyan moves the resulting color in a straight line in the direction of the M100 plane. In this case, cyan (C100 M0 Y0) approaches blue (C100 M100 Y0), which resides on the M100 plane.
